1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage and tracking pixels. In this policy, "cookie" collectively refers to all such technologies.
2. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary: required for the site to operate — e.g., request routing, recording your consent choice. Cannot be disabled.
Functional: improves your experience — e.g., maintaining AI chat context. Loaded on demand.
Analytics: helps us understand which pages get attention and where visitors come from, to improve the site. Loaded only after you opt in.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or social-media tracking pixels.
3. Managing your choices
On first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You can accept or decline; the choice is stored for 12 months.
To change your choice: clear browser storage for himingcsii.com (Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Site Settings → View permissions and data stored → himingcsii.com → Delete; Safari and Firefox similar). The banner will reappear on next visit.
You can also block all cookies via browser settings, but strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. Blocking them may break the inquiry form and AI assistant.
4. Third-party processors
When you opt in to analytics cookies, Vercel Inc. processes aggregated, IP-anonymized visit data on our behalf. Vercel operates as a data processor under a data processing agreement. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of processors and cross-border transfer safeguards.
5. Policy updates
We update this policy when our cookie list changes. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes are highlighted in the consent banner.
